PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene / fluoropolymer) is resistant to almost all chemicals and has one of the lowest friction coefficients among resins. Its continuous use temperature is approximately 260°C, and its water absorption rate is extremely low at 0.01%. It is used in seals, gaskets, low-load sliding parts, and insulating components.
